GALACTORRHOEA Men‘s Organic Crew Neck Shirt
Galactorrhea (greek.) describes the efflux of mother‘s milk or related secretion without a pregnancy and without brestfeeding. (Source: wikipedia)
But contrary to the human illness of glottorhea, milk cows have to get impregnated regularly to activate and keep up the milk production. The biggest suffering they have to go through is the fact that they lose their young again and again. Female offspring are probably brought up to become milk cows, the male are taken away from their mothers in the 24 hours following their birth. They are auctioned off to the infamous veal industry or to the cattle industry. The fourth stomach of a killed calf is used for the production of cheese, because it contains rennin, an enzyme which is used for the production of cheese. Lab-ferment, which is extracted from rennet, is also being used in this process. It is possible to produce cheese without rennet; this kind of cheese is available at wholefood shops. However, the close connections between the leather-, milk- and calfindustry make it cheaper for the cheese producer to use parts of the calves than organic enzyme. (Source: » www.milksucks.com)
A vegan design that provokes and intends to illustrate the more than unnatural and pathological galactorrhea from cow to man.
